We are proud to celebrate three Musikmakarna alumni who took home awards at Manifestgalan 2026.
Izza Garra was awarded Composer of the Year, Venus Anon received Soul/R&B of the Year, and Alessandra Günthardt (Genom Natten) won Newcomer of the Year - highlighting a remarkable range of artistry within Sweden’s independent music scene.

This year’s winners represent a wide spectrum of musical expression - from innovative R&B and modern pop to atmospheric dream pop - each with a distinct artistic voice.
“With vulnerable presence, fearless power, and a unique sound within Swedish R&B, this year’s winner has captivated listeners both on record and on stage. For the ability to move and innovate — Venus Anon.”
“This year’s composer creates precise, modern pop. Her songs are direct and everyday, yet at the same time complex and challenging. She balances a strong sense of melody and hooks with a personal expression that lingers.”
“This year’s newcomer captures both the Swedish melancholy and shimmering international dream pop traditions, with a unique voice that makes every song feel larger than life. The debut album moves between darkness and light, showcasing a clear and personal expression that makes their music both present and deeply moving.”
These awards reflect not only individual achievements, but also the continued strength and diversity of Musikmakarna alumni within the independent music landscape.
Congratulations to all three - we look forward to following your continued journey. ✨
