ABOUT THE PROGRAM

At the Global Songwriters Program you will be working with real leads from the global music industry, have the opportunity to show your work to music business representatives and be given personal feedback and possible pitching opportunities. It will provide you with invaluable tools to take your professional life as a songwriter and music creator to the next level.

With unlimited access to a shared music studio, you get time for creation and creativity for yourself or together with some of all the other hitmakers in the house.

As an international student you will be working primarily with the international team but also alongside our students at Musikmakarna, Dreamhill Music and Songwriting for an International Market. You’ll be able to interact with them on a daily basis and you will also be working with them on a few select projects within this course.

During the course you get to combine theoretical knowledge with practical creation. This includes copyright issues, entrepreneurship and business, creative assignments in songwriting, music production, composition and a number of exciting songwriting camps.

Upon completion of your studies you will be awarded a Graduation Diploma from the school.

Autumn Course

In the Autumn Course, you will jo our High Coast Songwriting Camp, featuring exclusively invited guests from around the globe. This inspiring camp takes place on the picturesque island of Ulvön from October 7-11, offering a unique opportunity to collaborate and create in a stunning setting.

Spring Course

The Spring Course includes a dynamic field trip to Stockholm, where you'll have the chance to write music alongside professional songwriters from the Swedish music industry. Additionally, you’ll visit and meet with leading music labels, publishers, and other key companies in the Stockholm music scene. The specific dates for this enriching experience will be set at the beginning of 2025.

Equipment

Each international student will have full 24/7 access to the school and will be assigned a music studio to share with another student. Every studio will be equipped with a microphone, a midi keyboard, an audio interface and studio speakers. We expect you to bring your own computer, headphones and, if you want to, any personal instruments or additional studio equipment.
