We're happy to announce that Musikmakarna/Songwriters Academy of Sweden is ready again to welcome a small and exclusive number of international students during the spring semester starting in March 2024.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
As an international student you will be working primarily with the international team but also alongside our students at Musikmakarna, Dreamhill Music and Songwriting for an International Market. You’ll be able to interact with them on a daily basis and you will also be working with them on a few select projects within this course.
The teaching will be custom-tailored for the international group, see subjects below. Additionally, you will have scheduled access to a professional mentor who will look after you and follow your progress during your studies.
You will be able to work with real leads from the global music industry, have the opportunity to show your work to music business representatives and be given personal feedback and possible pitching opportunities. Our skilled and experienced staff will guide you through the course and supervise your development.
Upon completion of your studies you will be awarded a Graduation Diploma from the school.
Equipment
Each international student will be given full 24/7 access to the school and a working space in a shared classroom. Each working space will be equipped with a microphone, a midi controller and an audio interface. For reference listening you will have access to professional studio speakers. We expect you to bring your own computer, headphones and, if you want to, any own instruments or additional studio equipment.

We can suggest possible accommodations close to the school. Please let us know if you want help to find a shared accommodation or a place for single stay.
Communications
- By car: 560 km north of Stockholm.
- By train: Approx. 5 hrs from Stockholm Central station.
- By flight: Approx. 1 hrs flight to Gideå Airport from Stockholm Arlanda.
Tuition fee
59 000 SEK
Including Registration Fee of 8,000 SEK*
Price is including VAT for students paying privately and and excluding VAT when billed to a company/organisation.
* If you are accepted to the program you are expected to pay the registration fee within 14 days of notice to accept your seat.

Qualifications
- English proficiency (verbal/written)
- Demonstrable songwriting and music production skills.
- Experience or educational background in music.
- A will and openness to work with other songwriters as the program is heavily based on co-writing.

- We will accept six students this spring.

Participating fee for 3 months:
